Did you know that Tante means Aunt in French? And Maisonette is a cottage. We search the attic in our little cottage high and low, behind every nook and in every trunk to find treasures for you.
We specialize in vintage accessories, magazines, clothing and sewing notions and fabrics. From time to time we have software and other modern things.

Shipping:
We are aware that everyone is unhappy with the cost of shipping. And so are we. We use the best shipping method with the lowest cost appropriate for the item. We cannot control what shipping services charge us, but we can control our handling charges. We usually spend 15 minutes to 1/2 hour packaging your item. We like to recycle packaging whenever possible, but sometimes we will use newly purchased material. Our favorite envelopes cost us about $1.00 each. Our handling fees very from about .50 cents to $1.50 which certainly does not cover our time or materials. Your items are lovingly and carefully packaged and shipped personally by Tante Annie. Please do not ask us to ship Media Mail if your item has advertisements, even vintage ads are not allowed by the USPS. If your item qualifies for Media Mail, we will always offer it. If you feel that the amount we are charging for shipping is unreasonable, please contact us prior to bidding and see if there is some other option available.
Policies:
We strive to ship your item within two business days of your purchase. If you prefer to send a personal check, we will ship your item as soon as it clears our bank. We are not responsible for the time that the postal service has your parcel in transit. Whenever possible we will place a tracking number on your parcel. We recommend you purchase the optional insurance. If you are outside the United States, please provide a telephone number that we can put on the shipping documents for you.
